* lisp/progmodes/prolog.el (prolog-make-keywords-regexp): Remove.
(prolog-font-lock-keywords): Use regexp-opt instead.
Don't manually highlight strings.
(prolog-mode-variables): Simplify comment-start-skip.
(prolog-consult-compile): Use display-buffer.  Remove unused old-filter.
